Congress has aways protected multinational interests in India , going to the extent of absolving them of their heinous crimes against the masses & selling off our people for a few dimes as we saw happen with Union Carbide . Not that other parties are far behind , Shiv Sena after railing & ranting against Enron , signed a deal within with a month of coming to power . the lure of quick lucre , make the roaring lion a tame purring cat. , Every time some minster decides to do an honest days work & questions a multinational project on ecology , tribal rights , technology , costs etc. we have some Ahluwalia or Chidambram types saying " Stop , stop FDI will run away , GDP growth will come down " , as if the poor get FDI from the ration shops & GDP from the dispensaries .
