You have raised the questions:
1.Who are we ?
The citizens of India who do not believe that the public
space be appropriated only by the voice of funded NGOs
but include those speaking for other groups and classes and
categories .
2. How many of you ?
More than Team Anna including Dalits , Tribal people, Minorities,
Peasantry , Working people and sections of Middle classes
those aware of the issues privatization including of health
care, education and of POLICY , leading to police
action against the poorest of the poor and the peasantry
and working people .
3. Where were we till now ?
With public issues and causes . Some of us facing real
persecution and isolation , not the nominal or staged
persecution of those invited to standing committees of
Parliament .
When you single out one party on corruption while excluding
the others and exclude an investigation of the the merger of corporate
and financial power with state power , which is the real issue and the
core issue of corruption of the public space ,a threat to the Republic
and democracy as this is an alliance with global capital and internal
collaborators ,
your movement loses credibility .
What we are demanding is an oversight of the Corporate , Financial , Real
Estate and NGO funded sector and transparency of the functioning and
finances of these institutions and bodies ,as much as an oversight of the
political
and administrative status at all levels including of Municipal Corporations
,
Nagar Parishads and Panchayats and all sources of political party funding
and nexus forged with Members of Parliament and State legislatures by
Corporate houses Indian and foreign AND OF ALL BANKS AND
FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS PUBLIC AND PRIVATE TO BE
COVERED INCLUDING THEIR OUTSTANDING LOANS TO
THE CORPORATE AND FINANCIAL SECTORS .
Whereas your focus is only on the Ministers and the Bureaucracy
and originally the flawed Jan Lokpal Bill was limited only to the
Central government before amendments were affected by Team
Anna ; as MOUs are being signed by several State governments and
Municipal bodies involved in housing and contractor scams of
a very serious nature .
Why are you opposed to an analysis of the TEAM ANNA MOVEMENT?

Dear Venugopla Ji
As the credentials of people fighting graft & those who came on to the
streets are being questioned by one and all ...people do have the
right to put the same questions back?
"Who are you ? How many of you ? Where were you till now ?
Congress now runs this country based on no more than 35% of the total
votes. This movement & the issues it has raised seems has around 80%
support from the opinion polls so far. I do know what the
politician's answer to this is , but I am not convinced as have seen
them get too happy with a vote swing of 2% on such a pre-poll
survey.
Not 50 people will collect on Raj Ghat spontaneously if all our
politicians converge there . The only exception is probably a
cricketer or actor.
