The killing of the police officer by the mining mafia of Madhya Pradesh
establishes that honest officials are being increasingly targeted by the mafia
,in collusion with those to whom political contributions are made .Policemen
and officials among others performing their duty are no longer immune to
attacks reflecting on the nature of criminalization of society as a whole which
endangers democracy , as no rules are adhered to by political nominees of
special financial interests .
