Even as most political parties represented in Parliament have given up the on
the ground struggle against feudal practices and reaction in India ,and have
ceased supporting social and economic emancipation for all weaker sections of
society ; once again patriarchal feudal forces attempting to enslave adivasi,
dalits, women , agricultural and unorganized workers are emerging as the
dominant and vocal force in large parts of rural India , allied with companies
seizing resources allied with foreign capital and feudal reaction recalling the
worst days of Indian Zamindari .
The Khap Panchayat edicts and fatwas reflect the dominance of these forces
which face no political opposition on the ground as distinguished from
statements in New Delhi or on urban TV Channels .
The political forces in these regions represent the dominant patriarchal trend
politically officially reinforced in India, coinciding with criminalized forms
of neoliberal capital accumulation introduced and linked with criminalised
political and social forces ,which will stop at nothing in enslaving weaker
classes and gender .
Political ideology and political and social forces which will resist this
domination is required on the ground . To expect individual women who face
murder and group molestation to resist without political and social support is
utopian and an attempt to conceal the abdication of political parties in
parliament to these dominant classes/castes and reactionary forces misusing
religion about which they know nothing .
This is happening on the door steps of New Delhi and indicates the unleashing
of " animal forces" all over India as an adjunct to criminalized forms of
capital accumulation which steals from public resources and recognizes no
human values and will devastate those without political and social power and
organization .
What is absent from the debate is the absolute commodification of women in a
degenerate political and economic system where women from political families
are used as figure heads !
