Sounds like you picked up a virus somewhere. Maybe just clicking on that link set it off. You should backup all your work if possible and completely reinstall your operating >system. That will clean out everything. It should be done at least once a year for good maintenance.
Sounds like overkill. Perhaps getting a good anti-virus program would be a start.
