Any of you old timers might remember Ralph Kellogg, keyboardist for
Blue Cheer 69-71. He played a mean HG.

He didn't really gain his fame as a musician, but did so as a producer
under the name Ethan James. Many, many
well known acts got their feet under them thanks to his efforts at
Studio Tokyo in L.A.

In later years he changed gears and spent his time and effort playing
the HG in numerous avant garde and early music
settings.

His recordings are getting much more difficult to track down, but are
worthy of pursuit.
