The midi output from Lilypond left a bit to be desired (it messed up grace notes, missed some trills, butchers the tempo in the middle section - much too fast - and played tied notes as separate notes), but it's good enough to get an idea. The piano part uses midi piano and the HG part is with midi oboe. If anyone has a suggestion for a better instrument in the midi channels, let me know, and I can regenerate it with that. The file name is:
orientale_HG_Piano.midi I've posted a midi file for the Satie here as well: satie_gnossienne1_arranged.midi This one sounds like someone used a set of framing hammers to play it on a piano, but you can hear the general form at least. This one as I play it adds and subtracts strings and drones at various points, but none of this is noted in the score. I need to revise it to have the performance marks and instructions... -Arle On Apr 19, 5:09 pm, Augusto de Ornellas Abreu <[email protected]> wrote: > It finally got back online > > Arle, please, send us the midis/mp3s for this new arrangement as well as for > the Gnosienne 3 and the Orientale, ok?
