Hello.
Winterthur is a Swiss city near Zürich. I think that this instrument is
"Bauernleier", which is a ("family" of) peasant h-g model(s) from German
speaking central Europe. It is definitely not Hungarian.

I hope we soon get some detailed information from Simon or others who are
familiar with these German-Swiss-Austrian -hg traditions.

Does the label say "Chr. Palt"? Or is it "Patt"? Perhaps Christian Patt?
Check
http://www.myswitzerland.com/en/interests/excursions/museums/town-mill-willisau-musical-instrument-collection-patt.html
"Christian Patt has rebuilt and reconstructed more than 260 instruments in
the course of 50 years - from medieval times and the Renaissance."
Or in German http://www.musikinstrumentensammlung.ch/
