Yes , all lessons are exciting, there is always someone who knows a bit more than yourself and can help show you how to do something new.. I remember my first lesson, it was from a young man called Nigel Eaton. He terrified me. But it was wonderful to sit and listen to him. I now play on three different gurdies and each one has become very special with its own personallity. They are really seriously addictive instruments. Enjoy your lesson, and subsequent ones. JON
