I'm researching the phenomenon of wandering blind hurdy gurdy (lirnyky) players in Ukraine/South Eastern Poland/ and Belorussia.
Trying to find old pictures or photos on this specific topic. As these lands were formerly part of the Russian Empire much information and pictorial evidence was "borrowed" and stored in various Russian Museums - which makes it difficult to read or research. Does anyone know if British Museums have info on this very topic ,and if so, where ? Also, your positive suggestions as to any alternative sources of information would be gratefully accepted. Sorry for this "weird" hurdy gurdy request but thanks for any input you can give.
