I hope you stick to it, however I am always amazed how people have
expensive instruments made for them, without knowing how to play them.
Grant you a cheap HG is worse, however, I would have tried to rent one
before coming to the conclusion of buying a $6000 instrument.  I found the
same kind of thinking with lute players.  There are people at the lute
Society of America, who cannot play the simplest lute tablature on their
very expensive lutes...  I guess for some people, money is no object.
