I have met Mel Dorres and played some of his instruments. The instruments are
great and he is a wonderful person to talk with and help answer any questions.

I recently played one of these and it was very pleasant indeed. Nice, full
sound, easy to tune and play and just generally a simple but satisfying
instrument especially for entry level but it seemed like it could go farther,
too.
