My band is recording a new cd and we're adding my hurdy gurdy to several of the
tracks. The mics we're using seem to be picking up the scratchy sounds of the
strings a lot, even though that's not how the instrument really sounds in
person.
My question is, what's the best way to mic a hurdy for recording purposes?

Thanks for any advice,
Belinda
