Hi Steven, I'm Belinda and I live in Mansfield, which is just south of Arlington. I'm a member of the world music band Sombati. We play at various locations around the Metroplex. I could possibly meet you half way somewhere. I've been very interested in meeting other gurdy players in our area, but unfortunately, we're a rare breed here. The only other current hurdy gurdy player that I know of in our area (D/FW) is Will Cornell. He plays in a band called Buttermilk Junction Old Time String Band, which frequently plays at Dallas Heritage Village.
Let me know if you're interested in getting together.
