Greetings Red Hat Partners, We have updated the RHEL 7 data image transfer package, one of two packages that are downloaded from Red Hat during full-virt guest testing, to use a newer version of the redhat-certification test suite. The new package hwcertData-20170412.img.tar.bz2 has been symlinked to hwcertData.img.tar.bz2 and is available now in the standard FTP location:
ftp://partners.redhat.com/a166eabc5cf5df158922f9b06e5e7b21/hwcert/fv-images/RHEL7/ This updated package is required by redhat-certification test suite version 4.8 and newer, but you may update it for use with earlier releases as well. It will work with all currently-supported versions of the test suite. The new file will be downloaded automatically during full-virt testing by any newly-installed system under test that pulls its guest files from the Red Hat FTP site (the default behavior). If you host the pre-built guest files internally, which is recommended by us to greatly speed up full-virt testing, you will need to replace your existing file with the new one. If you encounter any problems, please file bugs against the "Red Hat Certification Program" product in Red Hat Bugzilla (https://bugzilla.redhat.com). Note that this may be a change from some users who are used to using the old "Red Hat Hardware Certification Program" product. We value your ongoing participation in Red Hat certification, software development, and testing efforts. Thank you for your continued partnership. If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact your Partner Manager or Engineering Account Manager.
