After trying these things out for a bit i found they use voice
parameters as input (perhaps obviously so..)
As somebody wrote a while ago:

Apparently it takes the rate from the 'LFO RATE' parameter. The
modulation itself seems to be fixed at max. 'PITCH DEPTH' unfortunately.

i hadn't realised this at first, but this might be usable if you change
the 'P.B. RANGE' parameter to something else, eg -12.
