oh right, it could also be the filter settings. if you think about what
resonance and cutoff really do then you will know that resonance boosts the
frequencies that re allowed through below the point of the cutoff knob also
each note is a different frequency so when you play in the octave near the
cutoff position, some notes will be boosted and others will not
