Millions use internal. And they are WAY cheaper. I've seen 56k's for
$9.95. And it's pretty standardized now, as 56 is really the fastest phone
lines can handle (and even that only downstream, under ideal circumstances).
And NObody looks at or needs the lights. LOL (Though you can get 'em
onscreen with utilities). Personally, I don't need one more doohicky
hanging off my PC that clutters my desk, won't stack, etc.
But I am curious-why such a sweeping statement as to "NEVER" Jay? Do you
have any reasons? I am interested as to why, but, I'm sorry, to pronounce
it so sweepinly, without reason... are we all to trash what works fine
because the word has come down from on high? :o )
