Wow this sounds like a dramatic decrease in flexibility IMHO!
With the QY700 you could have a section where on each track you can
fill in your favourite user pattern at any position you want to: for example:
section A:24 measures
------
track 1 :
meas 1-8 :US1
meas 9-16:US2
meas 17-24:US3
track 2:
meas 1-8: US4
meas 9-12:US5
meas 13-16:US6
etc etc.
I understand that you can achieve similar results with the append phrase job,
or with the procedure you've outlined above but this seems a lot less flexible
than the QY700 sections...
Are there any QY700 users out there that can comment on this in terms of
influence
on their songwriting?
