Mlan expansion for digital audio in and out and super feature - digital data
trasnsmision via Mlan ( you can control all the parameters of the machine via
Mlan
and you can do all the stuff in the host PC or MAC as you would on these
machines and when you are done you can save and transfer all the project to your
machine via Firewire ( samples - including loop points ..., midi setings ...)
everything with just one mouse button click. Projects can be done even on setups
with more different machines, but then you are limited to 4 meters distance
between machines ( Firewire cable limitation - you can buy even 20 meters long
cable but it cost more than the whole A5000 machine ). Yamaha shall release
special software for PC and MAC for custom integration of all the machines
which shall support the Mlan specification. This shall first work in case
with computer integration only with special PLG in card for Yamaha SW1000XG card
and maybe with add on card for Yamaha DSP Factory, but they probably shall
not at start support third party Firewire cards like Adaptec AHA 8945 ....)
