I've had this great box for a few moments now, and I've already got
a few questions that the manual hasn't help me with..

#1 problem) In step mode, while the record button is on, how do
I audition sounds (to familiarize myself with what is on each key)
without inputting data... I can do this now by stopping the recording,
figuring out what sound I want and then recording it.. but this
method takes forever (compared to cubase)..
This is mainly in reference to the drum kits.. but I guess I wouldn't
mind auditioning synth sounds as well...

#2 problem).. from the manual:

----
Drum voices are special voices in which different sounds are
assigned to each note. You can make detailed modifications
to the sound of each note.
----

So, does this mean [even if I have 8 different drums on one
track] I can modify the ENV, filter, lfo.. ect separately for each drum?
This is what it would imply to me, but I didn't notice that in effect
when I played with the machine... can somebody
tell me how to select and edit individual drums on the same track? Yes, I
might be jumping the gun, but I didn't noticed when I spent
an hour playing with this machine and I've finished the
manual...

#3 ISSUE) Remind me, before I get to deep into programming this machine, how
I can copy patterns/phrases without them being
connected (ghosted in cubase speak) to the original pattern.. I
haven't had this problem yet, but I wouldn't want to screw up
a great track by changing a copy and loosing the original...

PLEASE help me with these.. (#1 especially)..
