I'm running my RM1X into a Digital Music Corp MX-28M MIDI Patchbay Merger
Plus. Its a 2 in, 8 out, little MIDI box, and for each output you can
choose weather to use input A, input B, or a merge of both inputs. The
patchbay is also supposedly programmable to do various things like splits
and data filters, however I didn't get a manual when I bought it, so I don't
know the sysex commands neccessary to program it, and Digital Music Corp
won't send me a manual. The one problem I have with it, is that when a
whole bunch of program changes are sent to it at once, only the change on
channel 1 gets through. However, if I manually insert my program changes
into each track, and space them out by a few clock ticks, then they get
through fine.
