I have 2 setups - live and studio - same equip. but the live doesn't
include a computer.
In the Studio:
Mac7100(running Vision) masterclock [serial
connection]-->OpcodeStudio64XTC
Live:
Yamaha RM1x [midi connection]--->OpcodeStudio64XTC
Studio64XTC
Outs
1
2 Korg Prophecy
3 LaunchPad (midi controller)-->(in)Planet Phatt(thru)-->(IN)Akai S2000
4 Yamaha RM1x
Ins
1 keyboard controller
2 Korg Prophecy
3 Akai S2000
4 Yamaha RM1x
-------------
The Opcode Studio64XTC has 4 user setups where you can define the midi
mapping and where the master clock is - so I have a Live and a Studio
setup programmed on the Studio64.
I sequence best on the computer - so I develop stuff there, then move it
to the RM1x for live use. Actually, lately, I've created stuff on the
RM1x - just working in the live setup mode. I like working in different
environments to keep it all interesting.
But... Opcode may not be around for too long and I don't know if their
product line will get any support...
Then again, mine has not had any problems.
hope this helps,
