I'm a little confused about something. This is probably more of an AN1x
question, but the list crashed and never came back..
I am using the RM1x as a sequencer and want to configure channels 5-8 to
use the internal TG. That works fine. I want to configure channels 1-4
for my AN1x. I go to SONG mode and let's say I'm on channel 1 on the
RM1x and my AN1x is set for MIDI Tx 1 and MIDI Rx 1. I can select any
voice, start the sequence recording, and it works fine. If I go to
channel 2 on the RM1x I don't get any sound unless I configure the AN1x
for Rx channel 2 also. But when I go to play back my "SONG" I only hear
the AN1x play whatever channel it is currently set for. For example:
Step 1) Record my sequence on the RM1x using channel 1 for the AN1x.
The AN1x is Tx = channel 1 and Rx = channel 1
Step 2) Record my next sequence on the RM1x using channel 2. The AN1x [a
different voice is selected of course] is Tx = 1 and Rx = 2
When I playback I only here channel 2 because that was the last setting
I changed on the AN1x. If I put Rx back to 1 and Tx at 1, I only hear
channel one in my playback but not channel 2. How can I utilize
multiple channels for a song?
