If there where a RM2X, i'd prefer to see a upgraded version of the QY700
with
Large screen
32 tracks (minimum of course)
32 midi channel
2 in
2 out
bigger memory to allow you to load 1 hour or 2 of music
more assignable knobs on the front panel
+assignable buttons (a sort of mini peavey 1600x)
velocity sensitive pad
possibility to select multiple line in the edit screen and
cut/paste/erase
possibility to view your song like in Pattern Mode (with blocks - � la
Cubasis)
Please: keep that numeric keypad - it works great for encoding fast
more possibility with the SHiFT button (shortcuts,...)
a more comprehensive "track view" screen
Possibility to record your data on existing files on floppy (the screen
doesn't show you what you have on floppy unless you return to Disk load
menu)
