I tend to control my Kyma system from my rm1x these days. I've tried both
Cubase and Logic, but both of them left me rather underwhelmed, especially
as regards MIDI timing. Logic was better than Cubase, but neither really
impressed me. I find the rm1x much more natural and easy to use. Taking its
MIDI feed into Kyma lets me make nearly any sound I can think of, whilst
letting me trigger it and create grooves really easily.
Kyma is definitely a psychopathic DSP system. I like that way of describing
it! :)
