long-decaying notes

Hey kids

I have a problem.  In one of my songs, I have a note that only plays for
1/8th measure, but decays for about two measures.  However, when I try to
play it from the RM1x'x keyboard, it cuts off after a very short time.  Any
ideas on how to fix this situation?
