Normally I go to section A (by pressing button A or 1) and chose track no1 (by pressing track button plus 1). Then I select U01 (press voice button once and then rotating knob F1 till you get U01), chose the voice I want (rotating knob F2 or F3) and proceed with the recording. If I want more voices I select track no2 and do the same as before. I think your problem was choosing the same track for different voices. You have 16 sections, and in each section you have 16 tracks. In those 16 tracks you can use 256 different voices. Try again and see if this works. Arlindo Your question: If I go to U01, section 1, track 1 (say) and set the instrument to a piano, then go to U02, section 1, track 1, the instrument's still a piano. If I now change it to a drumkit, then go back to U01, track 1, the instrument's now a drumkit... It's lost the piano setting... Is there some kind of store operation I need to do ? It's really annoying because it means any patterns I do never sound the same after playing other ones... :-)
