I'm not sure if that will work, according to http://download.microsoft.com/download/9/c/5/9c5b2167-8017-4bae-9fde-d599bac8184a/WDDM_BIOS.doc , the _DOD method is for "Enumeration of graphics adapter child devices", and it seems to have nothing in common with turning the card off.
