That error has nothing to do with nvidia anymore, you're missing some basic modules. Try appending /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions to the path (found on http://packages.debian.org/search?searchon=contents&keywords=extmod.so&mode=path&suite=stable&arch=any )
