Yes, this one seems to be tricky. It segfaulted yesterday when i tried 
hydrogen trunk with jackd 0.116.1, so i switched to an earlier rev (just 
like you did). But when i changed back to trunk, everything worked ok. 
*If* it is related to the midi code, just like Krzysztof said last 
night, this might make sense.  Maybe sometimes the midi thread is faster 
then the main thread. I don't know, i'm going do to some more tests with 
trunk later. It's hard to test
Krzysztof's patch without getting hydrogen to segfault first :)
