Hi Sal!!

Thanks for your comments! I would like to start a quick brainstorming
here..
It seems that the creation of drumkits is a weak spot of hydrogen. What
can we do to make it better?

For the start, i've got two small ideas:
- Provide a way to start with a "clean" set. Maybe a "delete all
instruments" option? But not a nice implementation at all..
- Offer a way to rename layers ( esp. all layers at once ). Why is it
important for you to rename them?

Btw. you don't need to select every single sample, you can load all
layers of an instrument at once. You just have to select multiple
samples at once ( using ctrl ).

Another quick idea: We could try to build a "magic drumkit assistant" :)
A dialog which lets you quickly create a new drumkit from your samples
and which assists you with renaming instruments etc. The fine tuning (
adjusting velocity, gain ) could be done in the "normal" gui.
- Sebastian
