time ago i wrote on the mailing list and had the idea of an improvement of the
keyboard shortcuts, extending it for all the functions of hydrogen, i also did
a patch that is lost somewhere. Having add instrument or delete instrument as
shortcut would be really handy and speedy.

i need to rename because when i add a new instrument it needs to have a name,
so it has to be renamed from new instrument to something_else

yes i noticed this but i don't know how this can helps me. I need one sample
per instrument but in this way i have a layer with different samples. How is
this useful?

agreed that an external too could be even avoided, but scripting is generally a
faster solution, at least for me that don't have too much experience with qt and
c++.
