This is not ok for me, there are quite a lot of people that are using
hydrogen offline, especially in regions that do not have internet all
the time.
2) change the way the manual is currently included in H2 and make it
'dynamic' : add some sort of 'update manual' function + possibly an
option to let H2 check if a more recent manual is available for the
version you are using (maybe this can be a PDF version of the manual)
An updater would be cool, but the needed infrastructure (web service +
some sort of versioning) means definitely quite some work. It might be a
nice feature for 0.9.7.
why ?
because this gives us more flexibility.
The manual usually is one of the last things that gets updated and
sometimes slows down the release (also translation is always later
than we would like it to be).
Taking the manual out of the application (or making it updatable)
allows us to fix errors and add new parts to the manual without having
to make new builds
any ideas ?
