Additional note: I just realized that I was clicking in the wrong place to
fill notes - I was right-clicking in the editor where you place the notes,
rather than on the instrument's name. Also it only seems to happen when you
first start a new project (once a note has been placed it doesn'tseem to
cause the crash)
