Hi Paul,
thanks for your report! It seems that hydrogen tried to edit the length
of a note without having a note, which is quite a bad thing :) I've just
committed a quick fix to our git repository, so it should work again..

Running Hydrogen from the GIT repository (updated this morning,
problem existed from previous update) I'm experiencing a crash.
Process to duplicate:
Open Hydrogen, start new project
Right-click in the song editor area (with the plan to auto-fill
notes), and program crashes.
