Hi Folks,I tried the Ports+Manual approach. Had to install Ports, then the dependencies, then stopped at SCONS which I do not have installed. This is just too much to try and simply compile a program to test it out. The build environment is too complex. I realize there may not be OSX users among the build developers, but this process for OSX is a non-starter for most users.
