Sorry forgot to state Windows XP SP3. In my ignorance I'm not sure what qualifies as another Jack audio app? Things like WinAmp, iTunes and Reaper all play through my sound card (M-Audio Delta 1010LT). More info: I installed this in two steps. Hydrogen played the supplied sample files just fine. The error only started once Jack was installed. Yes I've selected Jack in Hydrogen under Preferences > Audio System. If I change that selection to the default PortAudio, no more errors and Hydrogen plays again. But my understanding is that Jack is the better choice, provided I can make it work.
