Hi Alexis:

Once you have installed and activated Hyperbole (hyperbole-mode 1) or {M-x
hyperbole-mode RET}, and then invoke any operation from the HyRolo menu,
{C-h h r}, then hyrolo-file-list should be set to ~/.rolo.otl if you have
not modified it.  But that file is not created until you try to add an
entry to it.

If you tell us the steps you are doing and the error you are getting, maybe
we can help you more.
