Hello all:

CVS now contains a version of hyperlatex.el that, I believe, will make
an ok version 2.9. I am particularly interested in ridding ourselves
of the bug that keeps <p>'s from being closed, and that occasionally
puts <p></p> pairs where they're not wanted. In all the test material
I've got (which is mostly the manual and some assorted smaller texts),
the version now in CVS does that, but I'd love to have some other
folks test it, too.

I'll pack this up in release 2.9 in a few days, but if anyone wants to
try it out in the meantime, I'd be grateful to hear about it.

The manual at sourceforge was generated with this version, and if you
notice something awful in it, please bring it to my attention. Or
someone submit it to one of the HTML-checkers out there and post the
report.

Thanks very much,

-tom
