There seems to be a (admittedly minor) bug.
When there is a blank line before the end of a description
(or enumerate or itemize) environment, such as in
\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{hyperlatex}
\begin{document}
\begin{description}
\item[Item]
This.
\end{description}
\end{document}
there is a spurious { in the resulting html.
I haven't had a chance to see why it appears (sorry), but it is a new
bug.
