Social Media Marketing for the Mobile Car Detailer – Part One

Social Media according to Wikipedia is "Social media is content created by
people using highly accessible and scalable publishing technologies." Once your
customer leaves your business after a detail they have a broad voice to
communicate with other local consumers who might also be interested in your
auto detail business.

Social Media can be a great targeted marketing tool for the Auto Detailer.
While there are many types of Social Media websites we will be focusing on
channels that provide immediate positive impact. This is done through making
your business known through a social media category that rates and reviews
local businesses. One popular example is Yelp.com.

already listed with the business directory signup and then include as much
information as possible. List all of your contact information, pictures,
website, email and a great description. Some customers will make their decision
solely based on this profile.

This is part one of a two part series. In the next edition we will go into
further detail about shaping your online reputation and how to spark positive
conversations about your business to drive new sales.

Peter Ferrigan has written many articles for mobile detailers on how to find
sales in uncommon areas. There was clearly a need for an add-on product that
would boost profits and make money on bad weather days. The most untapped
profit potential for mobile detailers - windshield wipers. Realizing a great
need and lack of supply, Peter co-founded The Wiper Pro with another industry
veteran. Wiper Pro established an exclusive relationship with a major
windshield wiper supplier to provide wipers to the mobile car care industry.
Wiper Pro now supplies top quality wiper blades to successful car care
professionals nationwide. Additional marketing resources and additional
