Lots of people advocate the benefits of low carb dieting and escalating aerobic
exercise as the perfect combination to lose weight. Often people assume that
because both strategies have the potential to deliver results when they are
done together, they offer the chance to shed pounds quicker. Then again, the
ability to balance these two methods may prove somewhat problematical since
carbs yield energy and energy is needed to exercise. However, there is, as you
will soon see, a way to get around this problem. Meaning you may not be able to
take full advantage of your exercise potential because of carb depletion.

Exercise as a Means of Weight Loss
Exercising burns calories. The harder you workout and the more intensity you
instill into your cardio routine, the more calories you will get rid of. When
you exercise, your body will burn carbs for energy to continue your exercise.
If there are only a few carbs in your system, your body will burn stored fat
for fuel. Mixing the two will allow you to burn up large amounts of stored fat
in a short period of time. Regrettably, there is one caution: the lack of carbs
could lead to abrupt fatigue when you exercise.

Balancing the Low Carb Diet and Exercise
If you are not consuming enough carbs, you will find your ability to exercise
strenuously very difficult. Once more, a lack of carbohydrate fuel requires
burning fat for fuel which is not very efficient. This means a lengthy, high
intensity workout might be hard to perform . Consequently, you may ask what the
answer is to this problem? Ultimately, all you need to do is reduce the
intensity of your workouts. If you can, simply cut back on the intensity of
your workout. Do what you can and you will burn calories while you do it.

Calories are Key
When you eat more calories than you use, the remainder will be stored as fat.
When you burn what you consume, you will maintain the same weight. When you
burn what you eat and then continue to exercise, you target stored fat. Then
you will discover yourself losing a great deal of weight. It is just how the
body works. Certainly, this is true regardless of what you are eating. In other
words, no matter where the carbs are derived from, carbs, fat, or protein, they
are utilized by the body in similar manners. As a result, going on a carb
restrictive diet may not be entirely necessary.

Further, as mentioned before, a lack of carbs in your diet can lead to the body
becoming incredibly fatigued when you work out. In particular, your body's
muscular stamina will dramatically reduced when you work out and you will tire
rapidly. As a result, you likely will not be able to work out for extended
lengths of time. You might not even last more than 15 minutes of low intensity
exercise. Unsurprisingly, the odds of losing weight in such a circumstances
would be very narrow. That is why it is wise not to reduce carbs too much.
Simply put, your body needs the carbs!
