Whenever you choose one of the many internet marketing programs out there, you 
want to have great sales conversion rates. After all, you could have a million 
people come to your website, but if they're not targeted traffic who are 
interested in your niche, they won't buy. The good news is you can always bring 
targeted traffic to your site with one simple tool.

Email Marketing
It's our favorite marketing tool out there. Email marketing is one of the best 
strategies for any of the internet marketing programs available. All you need 
is an autoresponder box on your website that allows people to add their name 
and email address. Once they've submitted this information, you have yourself 
an interested person. The industry likes to call this "targeted traffic."

The Enticement
There are several ways to entice your visiters to subscribe. You can offer them 
a discount on future purchases for signing up. Maybe you can give them some 
free "top secret" information. Or you could hold a contest with a cool prize. 
Or maybe a newsletter with valuable content. Whatever the case, you need to 
offer them something that will make them sign up. 

Sure, you might be thinking your product or service should be enough, but it 
most likely isn't. There has to be a reason they want to give you their email 
address, so make sure you offer them something of value in exchange. After you 
start seeing subscribers come in, then it's time to email everyone using your 
autoresponder.

The Message
One of the first things you'll want to do is refrain from pushing a sale. 
Instead, give people some inside information they wouldn't find elsewhere. 
Don't give them a sales pitch. Give them content that will help them in some 
way. Make them see your emails as something of value that they look forward to 
receiving. 

And then recommend products or services that will help them in some way. The 
product recommendations must be related to your niche, of course. Otherwise 
they will feel tricked into signing up and will most likely unsubscribe. Your 
job, via the autoresponder, is to keep in contact with them, give them value 
added content, and build a relationship with them. You do this so that when 
they are ready to purchase, they will buy from you.

The Sale
On average, you'll find that you have to contact someone at least 7 times 
before they make a purchase. So having an autoresponder is a must if you are 
serious about making money online.  Remember, don't give them a sales pitch. 
Build a trust relationship with your subscribers by giving them information 
they can use. And then make recommendations about products that will help them 
solve their problems in some way. That is how to use autoresponders in a way 
that will make your money.
