Everyone would like to save money if they can and wherever they can and it
becomes ever more important when finances are tight so to get you started there
are ten tips listed below that are simple to easy to implement and are sure to
save you money.

1. When looking at making a large purchase, consider whether or not you
actually need it! Sounds like a strange way to save money but if you are
anything like me your garage, attic and kitchen cupboards are probably full of
stuff that you thought you needed, that you probably used once or twice and
then stored away. If you are satisfied and convinced about its necessity it,
don't just rush out and buy it from the nearest shop. To make those money
savings you need to find the best seller in terms of comparative pricing,
quality and market reputation.

2. We all need to renew or replace clothing but the best way to buy quality
clothing at low prices is to buy out of season. It may be more difficult to do
this for your children as they grow but is certainly a viable way of saving
money. It is certainly better to buy better quality clothing that will last
longer out of season than lesser quality garment in season for the same price.

3. Use the Internet to shop for the best deals on any financial products you
have such as auto insurance, home insurance etc there are many price comparison
sites and you can save a considerable amount of money by doing this on a
regular basis, every six months say.

4. If you are in an area where there is competition regarding the supply of
your telephone and utilities you can check out all of the companies that supply
these services and switch to the best priced suppliers. If you are happy with
your supplier why not contact them to see if they can offer a better price plan.

5. This really should be at the top of the list but making a monthly budget to
regulate your spending will provide clear guidelines that need to be adhered to
in order to make those all important savings.

6. I'm sorry, but those lovely extravagant nights out and trips away need to
go, why not replace them with more affordable trips to the cinema or local
country parks, take picnics instead of eating out etc. Just because you have to
cut out the luxurious entertainment it doesn't mean you have to stop enjoying
yourself.

7. Good meal planning may sound a little 'betty homemaker-ish' but doing so
properly will result in improvements to eating habits and will provide both
financial and health benefits, you will also find that you throw less food away
meaning you will probably buy a lot fewer groceries. Needless to say, medical
bills are expensive and a healthy meal plan will cut down on illness...fact!

8. Sometimes it can be difficult, but ensuring your bills and payments are made
on time will avoid any late payment penalties; you have to pay them anyway so
make sure they are on time.

9. If you are a two car family, consider the possibility of cutting back on a
vehicle. Use public transport or walk when possible or join a car pool. If you
can't do without your car look at performing maintenance tasks yourself rather
than using a garage, many of the jobs that need doing to your car are easily
within the abilities of most people.

10. Ensure you home is insulated correctly; this can save you hundreds every
year in heating costs. Many homes will lose money because they lose heat
through their poorly insulated roofs, doors and windows.

There are countless more ways that you will be able to save money, in fact too
many to mention here but these 10 tips are more than enough to save you at
least a couple of hundred dollars each and every month.

Saving money is important and is a big step towards obtaining financial freedom
but what if you have, what seems like an unsurmountable mountain of debt, what
then?

There is a method of debt elimination that is so effective at removing debt
that it has been hidden by the financial institutions that are fearful of its
use. This method allows debt be paid off legally in as short a time as 3 years,
we are talking mortgage, auto loans, credit card debt, everything apart from
your regular living expenses such as utilities.

It does not involve filing for bankruptcy and does not require increased
payments, although increasing payments will give even quicker results!

So, if you think that there is no way out of debt, think again because by
implementing money saving techniques and using effective debt eliminating
methods you will be debt free before you know it!
