When I write about online business ideas, I would as well write about niche 
business ideas, which would better illustrate the target. All profitable 
business ideas are narrow ones, like specific niches, where you are able to 
build an expertise brand image. 

But how to reach that level, how to brainstorm enough working online business 
ideas and then to filter out the best one, which fits to your personal 
requirements. The first step is to make the planning, not to jump directly into 
the execution.

1. First Define, What You Want About Your Online Business ideas.

As said in many of my articles, the business ideas entrepreneurs need a sharp 
image, a brand which has an expertise as a content. An image, which means 
certain benefits to a small group of online information seekers. 

You cannot learn new talents, but you have to identify, what talents you have. 
This you can do by examining your personal history. Actually the top things in 
your history are parts of your future online business opportunities, because 
you have to build your success on your strengths.

2. Do The Brainstorming And Filtering Properly.

It is very easy to follow the easy routes and to take a usual way as your way. 
But the most profitable niches are found from a very special approaches, which 
look first not so attractive ones. The good news is, that the Net is full of 
good online business ideas. The bad news is that they are too many.

3. Write A Consumer Promise And Make Sure It Can Stand Out From The Crowd.

In the consumer promise you promise specific benefits to your target group in a 
way, which makes it a unique one. A good way to check the uniqueness is to type 
your keyword into Google and see, what are the titles and descriptions of your 
competitors and then to open the first pages.

Now you see, whether your offer can promise something unique or not. Or can 
your template be more attractive than the competing ones? Do you feel, that you 
can compete among these online business ideas? Do you feel comfortable, when 
you see, that you have the knowhow how to operate in this circumstance?

4. The Competitors Offer Lots Of Good Ideas.

If you think it thoroughly, what we call competitors are actually our fellow 
webmasters and you should try to cooperate with them. You all can share lots of 
useful information but still work as separate entrepreneurs.

The funny thing is, that when you pick the online business ideas you have to do 
it in a too early phase. In the phase, when you have the smallest amount of 
knowledge and experiences and when you are unsure, what works and what not. It 
is not easy, but you just have to do it to get started. 

A good ting is, that you can change or finetune your strategy later, if it is 
needed. But on the other hand, if you have done your business planning 
properly, the main direction should be correct.
