There are so many different places you can choose to have your wedding reception, so be sure to research which sites would better suit your particular function. Each site will cater to a variety of options, so by checking them all out, you ensure that you find the place that meets any and all of your needs. If you are having your wedding ceremony in a church somewhere, you should check with someone that works at the church to see if they have a room that would be suitable for a reception. Some churches have a room under the church and others have a separate building that is still on the property. This eliminates the need for that wedding guests or party to have to leave the area you are in. Also if you use both the church and the hall, you could possibly get a better deal on renting both spaces in order to save some money. However, some churches do not offer an area large enough for a wedding reception, and you are forced to find a place away from where you are having the ceremony. There a numerous options that you could go to, but none so high class as your town's country club. Country clubs often offer a fine dining experience with white table clothes and nice place settings that you will not need to provide. The rooms usually have windows that overlook either the lawn of a golf course or a lake or pond creating an elegant backdrop for any reception. Having your event outside is an option that can come with good things and bad things. The amount of space of being outdoors and the natural beauty are just a few of the benefits of having your wedding reception outside. You would not need to worry as much about the amount of guests that are attending because there are limited size restrictions. Also using the background of ocean waves, Autumn leaves, or Spring flowers can create the natural decorations to make your event beautiful. However, Mother Nature can cause some problems with having an outside function. Things like just the general weather and bug can make your event more stressful. Be sure to take these things into account when deciding on whether or not to have an outside reception. There are many more options out there for where to have your reception, and you would be doing yourself a favor if you researched all of them to be sure you get the wedding reception site that fits you and your wedding best.
