It is not too difficult to determine what type of skin type you may have there
are some signs that you can look for. All you have to do is pay close attention
to the condition of your skin.

If you tend to have dried, skin then the signs will be dry flakes of dead cells
falling from your face or neck. Your face, neck and hands may feel rough or
begin to crack as a, result of the condition.

One thing you can do, to remedy the condition. You can find a vitamin
supplement to take daily. Vitamin E is a good for the skin; and will help the
condition Vitamin E can be, used either as a topical or as an internal
treatment for dry skin conditions.

Moisturizers are your friend if you have rough, dry hands, face, neck and body.
Try running a warm bath or hot bath and add ample amounts of baby oil to the
bath water. Sit and soak in the bath for 10 to 20 minutes. When you get out of
the bath pat yourself dry do not rub or you will rub the oil off defeating the
bath treatment.

Also, use any kind of moisturizing lotion, creams, or ointments that contain
only things that are good and healthy for your skin. Especially, if you have a
dry skin condition they will work well. These are all good and there are many
choices out there on the market.

Now if your condition is the opposite of dry and you have an oily texture to
your skin do not fear there are still things you can do to reduce the oil. Oily
skin usually causes acne and some other problems can occur as well. Oily skin
means that the glands under the skin overreact and make to much oil.

Product to remove excess oils from the skin work well if they are, used as the
directions say to use them. Treat your face, hands, and neck or body with these
products to cut down on the excess amount of oils daily. These products can be
astringents, creams, or pre-soaked pads to clean the body parts with daily or
several times a day. These types of products will lessen the amount of oil and
help to dry out the skin.

You can also use a good quality face or body wash that will reduce the oils
these will have no added moisturizers included into the ingredients. Instead,
the ingredients will have drying agents and oil reducing agents in the products
or body washes.
