Last Wednesday A.M., August 5th I spent a few hrs. birding along the railroad
tracks below the bluffs of Eagle Point Park in Clinton and parallel to Pool 13.

American Redstarts, Prothonotary Warblers, and Indigo Buntings were abundant.
Other sightings included:

Immature Yellow Warbler
Eastern Wood-Pewees
Yellow-throated Vireos
Red-eyed Vireos
Bluejays
Cardinals
American Goldfinch
Song Sparrows
Turkey Vultures
American White Pelicans
White-breasted Nuthatches
Belted Kingfisher

I also may have seen a Bell's Vireo and/or a Warbling Vireo, but could not get
close enough for a positive ID. The same holds true for other flycatchers
besides the Pee-Wees.
