Good shorebird habitat remains abundant at HWA
but shorebird numbers were low this morning. Still I
managed to find 16 species including at Sand Point:
1 Ruddy Turnstone
6 Buff-breasted Sandpipers
3 Sanderlings
1 Black-bellied Plover
Also, I scoped a distant AMERICAN AVOCET
from the DNR parking lot on Amana Rd.
